Air Fried Fish

There's nothing like a summertime fish fry! When my parents came to visit a few weeks ago, they brought me some walleye that my dad had caught. I've never air fried fish, so I thought I would give it a whirl! I paired it with Erin Lives Whole Avocado Corn Salad and you have yourself the ultimate summer meal!

Here is what you'll need:
4 large white fish filets (or 6 small): I used walleye
Breadcrumbs: I really love Simple Truth Organic Whole Wheat Breadcrumbs
Almond flour: I used Bob's Red Mill, can use any flour substitute
An egg
Sea salt
Garlic powder
Paprika
Pepper
Materials you'll need:
3 small bowls
Air fryer
Tongs or spatula to flip
How to do it:
First, preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees (some air fryers do not need preheating!).

Next, you'll have your three-bowl assembly line
Almond flour
Whisked egg
Mixture of breadcrumbs, sea salt, garlic powder, paprika, and pepper
One-by-one, dip each fish filet in almond flour, followed by egg, and followed by the breadcrumb mixture until fully coated with breading.

Fish should be fully coated like the picture above!

Once your air fryer is preheated, place breaded fish into air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Serve with tartar sauce, lemon, and your favorite summer salad - enjoy!!!
